​Problem for Conservation Coalition:  Animal Rights versus Conservationists & how to deal with invasive species that kill native species. An Associated Press article details how feral cats in Hawaii are threatening the monk seal (and other species).  While animal rights groups are aligned with conservationists on some issues such as protecting wolves, they do not accept euthanization as a method to solve the feral cat problem—they only accept non-lethal methods.
